Ayato Fujii is a japenese motion designer, living in Tokyo. Who doesn’t know the site, which celebrates its 11th anniversary, hasen’t really do a good research on the web to find some great tutorials. Ayato@web was the first i found when i started to interess me on AfterEffects. I did all the tutos, sometimes pulling my hair out. But i used several time what i learned with Ayato.
There are more differents things on the japenese pages (but it’s in japenese!)
I wanted to pay tribute to him,to the time he spent on it, as he updates all the tuto, and the project is freely provided. What else?

Ayato Fujii est un motion designer japonais qui travaille à Tokyo. Qui n’a jamais fait une recherche de tutoriels sur le net et est tombé sur le site d’Ayato@web? Difficile d’y échapper. C’est le premier site que j’ai suivi à l’époque où je me suis intéressé à After. J’ai fait tous ses tutos, en m’arrachant les cheveux parfois, mais ils m’ont étés très utiles.
Il y a des choses en plus sur les pages japonaises (mais c’est en japonais!)
Je tenais à lui rendre hommage pour le temps qu’il a passé à nous offrir tout ça, d’autant plus qu’il a tout mis à jour, et rajouté (enfin!) les fichiers sources AE.

aescripts has changed. Aescripts has grown up. And now, it has a new look, more actual and more comfortable to read. And of course, the purpose is always the same, being one of the best script listing site.
aescripts se renouvelle et grandit. Le contenu est toujours aussi intéressant et indispensable, mais l’habillage est plus joli. Des scripts inévitables pour bien bosser sans se prendre la tête.

Blade Runner in watercolor / à l’aquarelle
This animation is made of 3285 watercolor paintings and form the very beginning of the paraphrase on the motion picture Blade Runner (1982) by Ridley Scott.
The sound is borrowed from the original movie.

US propaganda / propagande américaine
En ce moment sur le net on peut admirer une étonnante et magnifique collection de photos couleurs , les fameux “Kodachromes“, grands formats aux teintes si particulières, immédiatement reconnaissables.
Il s’agit de photos réalisées par l’agence américaine de propagande (Office of War Information) durant la 2ème guerre mondiale. Il fallait inciter les femmes a travailler dans l’armement ou l’industrie lourde et exalter le patriotisme. Le site qui les héberge a en stock pas mal d’autres merveilles.

De temps en temps, je vous filerai des liens vers des sites un peu moins connus que les grands excellents classiques. Celui-ci est un bon site (en anglais) à connaître, qui explique, donne des idées, des tutos, des expressions utiles pour after effects et pour Cinema 4 D. Plein de docs intéressantes à lire et à télécharger.
I’ll give sometime links for interessant site, less known than the big excellent classics ones, but still good site to know, full of ideas, tutos and usefulls tips or expressions for AE or C4D.
